Weekend Update: Hanukah Edition

So we went to Aaron's on Saturday after Karla had cooked up a huge meal for a possible 12 or more guests. It was a shiksa's hanukah meal: instead of brisket, we had pot roasts of grass-fed beef, challah (with butter available, so not at all kosher), fresh green beans with slivered almonds and fried garlic (have this from an Asian market - better than the French's onion stuff!), matzo ball soup, potato latkes, and for dessert, ice cream and pound cake with Fenton's caramel and chocolate sauces (the caramel is the best you've ever tasted). I felt overfed all night...
